Went out this morning for the falling tide bite. Got there at 9am.

Fished the gulp crack on a crank bait rod I got for free with my daiwa coastal

2nd cast out i get nailed. Pulled it out and it was a dink bsp. Caught about 3 more and farmed 6 in the first hour. Then at 10, the bite shut off for 30 minutes or so.

After that it was a bite here and a bite there. Left the beach at 11:30. Had fun! Ended up with about 8 c&r'd. :)

Oh and the surf was pretty bitchin today. Good sized sets with off shore wind.

Sorry no pix!

Robert, that's the "land of 10,000 lakes".
I recommend you read up on muskie, northern pike, and walleye fishing. It won't be so bad!

Oh mah lordy! You're gonna get into some bigggg fish if you go fishing there! Muskies would be AWESOME in conjunction with stripers...
