So... fished today for another 6 hours in my float tube for a total of 15 or so bass... 3 were in the 4 pound range...
The weird catch of the day was a 6 - 7 inch rainbow trout... the reason this is a weird catch is because they haven't planted trout in 2.5 years or so... Evidently some of the holdovers and/or stream trout are spawning and then the fingerlings are making their way into the lake... pretty cool if you ask me...
Now what this little trout was doing in the bass area still alive is beyond me! But still fun to catch.
