Well, I made it out there at about 5pm and the mack bite was on. They came in waves as usual and at times it went W.O with some folks filling up buckets of 'em. Most everyone was scoring 2,3,5 or even more on sabiki type rigs. I caught a few and pinned 'em on my live bait rig hoping for something more appealing but no love for me this time. Went inshore and fished gulp sand worms in the surf for a W.O bite on seaweed. The mackerel bit well up until sundown. If anyone want's to score some catfish bait or just wet a line, now's the time. No pix because all of you know what a mackerel look's like.

Nice work on the feesh. BTW what's a mackerel? No seriously, you should take a pic or two because honestly that is the one fish that you don't see very many pics of.

They're members of the scrombidae family ( tunas, bonito, wahoo ). Dont know if I did it right but here's a link to what they look like.

Yup, Them Macs have been thick up at KH too. Still fun on a trout rod.
Been hitting the Blue/Chrome 2 1/2" Krocodile. Seem to get alot more on the drop, let it hit bottom, then reel in slow, and let it drop again.

KH Macs below, LMAO, then I woke up. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d15/cherie713/Smiley%20Faces/2ad2.jpg

Dockrat, YOU DA MAN!! LOL. I fished Florida a couple years ago on a family road trip and actually caught some kings too. They weren't like the monsters in your pics but they do get up to the 20-30lb range and that's from the pier ( Skyway pier St Petersburg and Pensacola ). Their inshore fishery is ridiculous with all sorts of fish. I saw an estimated 50-60lb grouper chase down some dude's spanish mackerel a.k.a serierra just a few feet away. Simply spectacular fishery!
