3001130012So I went out Saturday, arrived around 9:00 am. I took my daughter for her first Vine trip and she had a blast. We fished the lagoon and landed the first 3lb Rainbow within 30 minutes. Second one "pulled me in" and I fell square on my a** before he broke the 2lb test at the shore. 3rd fish was the biggest weighing in a 4.5lbs and then finally the last fish was landed at about 1:00 pm. We left the lake around 3:00 with a fairly good size stringer and a sore elbow. All in all, it was an excellent day with the little one and fairly easy fishing.
Drop-shotting power worms and also landed one on a white/green power mouse. Tried using a kastmaster, T. Bouyant, and Fire Tiger rap early in the day with no luck so I switched to the Berkerly Magic.
