Bishop area pre opner report w/pics

Well it was spring break for the boys again and they wanted to fish so we went up to Bishop to see if we can get some pre opener action, got up ther Monday 18th fished the lower Owens for a couple of hrs for only couple of fish, (river flowing very high) then went over to PVR the dam area (very slow) changed our spot the next morning went to the inlet side of PVR ad it was the same ****, went back to Creekside Inn and relaxed by the pool and jacuzzi, had some good time at the pizza place watched the NBA playoffs, GO Lakers... stoped by the Sand traps on the way back on Wednesday and the boys killed the stockers there, every cast was a fish (just stocked) needless to say the boys were happy they got fish... gas prices up in Bishop $4.42 for regular at the Shell, Less at Lone Pine $4.21
good luck all those going up for the openr I think its going to be a good year up there.
