Ok so reading the other kayak makeover threads inspired me to share a couple pictures of my kayak.
so I've had the kayak for a while now, but have just recently really got to work on it.
Here she is the day I brought her home.

this one is with the spray skirt on, notice how the rear hatch is missing and was replaced with some homemade vaneer cover.

These are the rear mounted rod holders.

And this is my creation, my personel dashboard, which contains my fish finder, a mount for the transducer and two forward mounted rod holders.

A view from the drivers point of view.

To hold it down I used two clothe line hooks from homedepot, cut them down and used wing nuts to make it easier to tighten and removal.

notice the notch I made on the lip of the cockpit so that I dont have to completely remove the wing nuts in order to catch the lip of the hatch, i simply make sure the hook goes through the notch out and then slide it up to where I want it to sit and then tighten it down.

I still have the anchor kit that I bought the same day I bought the rear rod holders just havent made time to put it on, but that and sanding and painting my dashboard are next on my list. Rod leashes and clips to mount paddle on the side of the boat will come later. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures and hopefully I've been able to give some people some ideas as well as welcome any ideas people have for me.
