I'll be in Bridgeport for the opener...anyone know if the 395 between Bishop and Bridgeport is ice free? (ie, 2wd car with no chains)...truck is too old to make it.

The road is currently open to all traffic...but you should keep an eye on the caltrans website if a storm rolls in that weekend, which is rumored to be the case.
