Hello everyone, some friends and I stayed up in cabin over the weekend, a boy you couldn't ask for better weather. Cliff and I woke up around 5 am. Launched the tubes at Boulder Bay, air temps was low 30's but warmed up as the sun made it over the hills. Only brought the bass setup's with me in hopes of catching a smallmouth. Fished around the rock structure and found the key was to fish the shady area's with no sun. I caught 3 lmb's from 5-10am, Cliff caught 1 rainbow on the powerbait ( orange/green ) seemed to be key colors for bait/mini jigs. Saw a lot of carp so if anyone heads up there take some white bread with you.

Just want to thank BOWLER for the tips. Water temps are still low so I was slow as far as bassin went

Great Job, Killa!!!! Good to hear the bass are warming up. I was fishing same area previous weekend and got skunked - too cold still. I can't make it up this weekend, but hoping for April 30/May 1!!!!

Keep the reports coming and let us know what's working where - I promise not to crowd-you-out on the water ;)

Good job on the bass. I think i might go be going up the last day of this month. Your welcome on the tips. But wait for the water to get warmer and the bass fishing should be good.
