Went to Silverwood with a fellow FN member SpadedRanger, we got skunked. Seeing the sad look on my face from another skunk, he invited me to a couple of his "guarantee" spots.
The first spot we stopped at, SR hooks up almost immediately... sunfish, skunk out the way for him at least. We move to a different part of the lake, and from here on out it was mainly sight fishing. And it was on. Some were on beds, some weren't. The ones that were cruising around we caught on the drop shot, mainly. SR taught me how to flip a jig, and that's what we were doing to get the ones on beds. I've never fished by sight before, was surprised how much bigger they look out of the water. I caught a few nice ones, SR got a couple more than I did:

We lost track of time and SR had to get back. But before he left he showed me one more spot a few miles away. The fish were a bit smaller, but they were everywhere. I only took one pic before the light was gone:

I think I fished 12 hours straight, and got the sun burns to prove it. Worth it though.
