I just bought the rod from an FNNer. Fair deal. No qualms.
But, after taking my new little yak out for a trial spin as a newbie, it will be too much rod for the limited distance I can travel. This is a Seeker American 196-7 conventional guide 7 ft. rod. Pure quality and brand new.
But, the rod is more of a boat (great for party boats: cracker yellow tail, cuda, sand bass, 15 lb. test rod). Or, large yak rod for La Jolla or Dana Point. My yak would be pushing it to get out far.
Anyone up for a trade? I could use a Shimano 4000 series spinning reel: Sahara or Symmetry or a 300 series Shimano Corvalus (or similar) round baitcaster. Please, only new or near new.
Or, will sell $70. The rod retails for $125 before tax. Game in your favor.............
