Drop shot,carolina,Texas ect thats the kind of stuff I usually use,I've done best with a 6-8"worm green wheenie color on texas rig,with 10lb test,I'm usually fishing from shore,the bite was excellent a few weeks ago,but since the water level came up so much I haven't been doing as well.
Starting to hear better reports lately though,hope you get em,I see I'm posting the same day your fishing,maybe you can use some of this info on your next trip.ps nice crappie in the lake also!

I had one bite on a 4" purple power worm but I didnt get the hook set(my bad) other than that nothing and I was with 2 friends each with 2 in the water and nothing. I think I am done with that place :(
