Hello,
It is time again to spend more money :No Pity: on my BOAT (Break Out Another Thousand) :Rolls Eyes: I am looking to replace my fishfinder. I dont like the one I have. :Explode: I think it was this P.O.S. http://www.amazon.com/Lowrance-Waterproof-Fishfinder-Dual-Beam-Transducer/dp/B000SMVITW/ref=sr_1_3?s=marine&ie=UTF8&qid=1302568068&sr=1-3

I want one that shows the arches. This one was supposed to do that but barely shows part on an arch, and only if i am moving. What I want Is something thats less than $300 for sure. Any-one have one that they can give a testomonial to?

Check out different transducers. Personally I dislike transom mount and perfer thru hull or faring block.

Sounds like your transducer might not be completly parralel with the bottom of your boat. If it is not you will not get complete arches. Check and make sure the transducer didn't get bumped or moved before spending more money.

That finder looks like a POS.
It's too small to be worth a dam.
Get a real one! Maybe $300-$1200.
