All fish were from shore, 11 & 12.. and the boat launch.. saw a HUGE female and HUGE male in the marina.. there were about 15 ppl trying to catch it. all with swim baits.. poor lil fish.. haha

bonking a huge bluegill on top of a bedding male will piss him off, but he's smart enough not to bite :D

NICE! I have to hit Perris with you guys next time. I started my day at Seccombe (skunked), then went to Fairmount (Skunked). Ended the day at my favorite Rock Quarry near Fairmount. Was there from about 4:00PM until about 5:30 and caught 8 Bass! Average about a pound. The other two guys with me caught two each as well. Ran into some youngsters whom were actually swimming in the Quarry!!! Told them they were crazy.

Nice! Good to hear you all caught fish. If those fish at the marina are the same ones I saw a couple weeks ago, I wonder what it would take to catch them. Saw like 4 people trying to catch them with live bluegills for bait. Never a game warden around when you need one.

Swimbaits best time in spawn IMO. Keeps me off the beds.
Fish had the chance to see/eat the trout all winter, and are hungry when they come up from the deep. In warmer months they key great on shad imitations.

I can't find pride in tossing at nest fish.
