Newport harbor great day

Went to newport and fished the harbor yesterday with my brotha in law Al. Got there about 630 and it was raining but it cleared up as soon as we got on the boat, then it turned out to be a beautiful day. Between the both of us we caught four different species of fish, we caught spotties, halibut, cudas, dog sharks, and my first fish was a 30-40 pound bat ray that towed us around the harbor for about fifteen mins. It was an awesome day, being that this was only my second time fishing the harbor, but many more to come !!!!!!!! :Cool:
