Izor is good, so is pline, if u can find or afford tectan premium plus its about 30% thinner then anything else. I use 3.4lb tectan to throw mini jigs because its the dia of 1lb mono and is really soft.

I would suggest no more than 4lb test unless you're going to fish SARL or Corona Lake for monster trout.
