I have been using Smoke green when fishing murky waters, such as Canyon Lake. But it seems, in general, most people stick to clear. Im wondering if this has anything to do with my skunkage?

Suffix 6lb mono in smoke green is the exact line. I just can not seem to get a single bite, minus one six inch baby LM i caught after 5 hours of flipping docks.

What do you guys use?

Spinning: 15lb Power Pro, Green with a 6lb SeaGuar InvisX topshot (~18"-6' depending on technique)
Casting: 50lb Izor Spectra, Green with a 10lb SeaGuar InvisX topshot (~18"-6' depending on technique)
Swimbait / Flip: 65lb Izor Spectra, White with a 25lb P-Line CXX topshot (7'+ for Swimbaits, ~3'-5' for flippin')

Your line should be fine. I do well with moss green 6 lb P-line, even in clear waters.

i use maxima which has a green tint and it has not been an issue. I also use green power pro and it too is not an issue. I use these at DVL which is considered a clear lake.

i use P line (moss green). Very good line. Line can get pricey but works the money.

I Believe Line color can play a factor on the number of bites, however i believe most of the time it is a confidence issue more than anything. Sometimes i feel more confident with certain color in certain situations.
