Quantum smoke question

Anybody have this reel? What kind of fishing do you primarily use it for?

I have two new rods and need to decide what type of reel to put on each. I have a swimbait rod and a medium action Shimano Cumara for a kind of all around jerkbait/topwater/whatever else rod.

Would you put the the Smoke on the swimbait rod? Im guessing probably not. How about on the Cumara? I think that may work well...

Thoughts?

The smoke reel is awsome, its light weight and has a great look.

I do not own one but if I was to match it to a rod I would put it on the smoke series rod or a abu vendetta rod. both are super light and would go with that reel great IMO.

I have the smoke rod, and it's really nice and light... cant say too much about the reel as i dont have one :P

A buddy of mine just picked one up and paired it with a carrot stik. He uses it for Large Mouth Bass. It is a great light set-up. His only complaint so fat is that the thumb bar seems weak. But with the great customer service that quantum has, the thumb bar doesn't really bother him.
