Went out to the local watering hole today with my son, We were trying to get the LMB's to play, Got her on a Texas rig green pumpkin Chigga Craw. First cast out, then all I felt was a tiny "thump" so came the hook set. POW BANG BOOM!!!!! She took off peeling line, my heart beating, my palm sweating, and my son yelling "Daddy let me reel it in" OMG it was great. I didnt have a scale but she was a fatty. :EyePop: The rest of the day we caught fish on the drop shot. We were using Robo Plum Berry got it from Last chance in Hemet.

I Personally know this guy and let me tell you he doesn't release any of his catches. He's a bass eater. He invited me over for fish tacos tonight and I knew he kept another bass. Sup fool nice pic of a Fatty.

has anyone actually eaten largemouth? They dont seem like they would taste too good. Or I would just feel bad ever killing one.

Its funny that you ask that, Im the only asain guy that doesnt eat fish so i wouldn't know. LOL, but eating LMB's is taboo and is considered bad luck and your kids will melt furing a rain storm, J/k. Alot of people frown on eating LMB's so im safe because I dont eat fish. LOL

I've eaten sea bass but never a LMB. I do know for a fact that there are people that actually do eat LMB but I'm sure majority of us on this site would prefer to catch and release them. I was just sayin...
