Decided to hit up the "Pudd" this afternoon after it appeared the storm had placed so I gave my buddy Dave a call and we arrived at 1500. Conditions for fishing were not bad, other than the very high lake level, many of the picnic tables are under water. We decided on the D/S for our technique.
Dave was first up with this one.

After a period of nothing but casting and retrieving I landed this one.

All in all I am pretty happy for a three hour session at a place I cant remember ever catching a fish at.
The storm was not over as the wind a rain started again right before we were going to leave.

Glad to see you had a nice day on the waters after I had to cancel the "Spotted Fever Trip" to the harbor today due to training at work. :Bawling:
That spot is a little closer to home and I am sure it will not be the last visit there. You always seem to adapt to conditions and get on some nice fish where ever you go! :Thumbs Up:
You did not say how many you farmed before the catch though! :whistle: :Big Smile: :ROFL:

Those are great photos. I know exactly where you were standing. I think I saw you guys leave. I was wearing a green rain suit. I'll look for you next time casting a white rooster tail.
