Nice one after work

Had the rod in the truck, hit up a GC pond. Fished a RoboCrawl (watermelon) 1/16 oz bullet w/glass rattle. Fish seemed to be in hiding. Made my way around the bank and tossed out towards a water drain ( pretty much the only structure ) got hit on the drop, set the hook and the fight was on. Fish put up a good fight going on a small run, and breaking the surface with some good head shakes. Solid hook job on my part, put a big smile on my face.

I've been trying to land a "after work" bass for weeks now. I only have a hour or so to fish after work and haven't had any luck yet at El Dorado.:mad:
