JerkBait bite is WHITE HOT at the lagoon

last saturday got a hold of 22 LMB. 21 on the jerkbait and 1 on the drop shot. one fish over 2 lbs. the rest were 13-15 inches.

Went out from 8 to noon thsi past Saturday. LOTS of tubers on the water. Jerkbait bite was still on fire. 11 jerkbait fish this time. they were shallower and also chunkier this time. biggest was still only about 2.5 lbs, but the little ones were chunkier. saw a few males guarding already too. The cold and rain may push them off a bit, but the jerkbait bite is WFO right now. Enjoy it while it's here fellaz!

I fished the Lagoon yesterday, water temp was 55*. The bite has slowed some since the weather change, but I still managed 6.
