1. wats the difference between a blank and the regular rods?
2. why do they cost around 100 dollars less? (phenix trout)
3. is ther a difference in fishability?

A blank is a naked rod. It's for ppl who want the same rod but want to customize the designs such as guide, reel seat, and handle. This way they don't have a factory design. Once you add all the neccessary components, it usually right about the same price unless you're paying someone else then it'll cost more.
