My girlfriend and I got to the lake wednsday night at about 10pm, and got the truck all set up for sleep then BBQ'd and swapped stories with a few people and finally hit the hay at about 3am. After what felt like 15 minutes of sleep we woke up and it was game time. Went and settled in a spot down by the boat dock, and got our rods rigged up. My rigs consisted of a split shot orange PeeWee worm on a size 10 mesquito hook, my jig rod was set with a 1/32 jig head and half a black PeeWee worm. My girlfriend was fishing a split shot Pink PeeWee, and had a half inflated nightcrawler on her bait rod. The day turned out AWESOME. Limits for our whole group of 9, as well as a few good ones including a 9.5lb bow that my girlfriend caught on split shot, a few nice lightnings up to 4.5lbs, and 4 slab crappie between 2-3lbs. On top of that I hooked one of the 20+lbers on my jig setup, which suceeded in running straight up the beach and coming off after a minute or two of me not being able to even consider stopping it. Slightly depressing, but none the less it was still an EPIC day.

GREAT job young!! Thanks for the report!!! They got Crappie at SARL???????????

I didn't think so, but they sure do. And big ones at that! Smoke colored PeeWee on a jig head was killing them

Good job young. I was there on friday and it was awsome ,I tried out all the tricks you showd me and it paid off.I finished up my limit at 21lbs with 5lb bow,and my 4 lightning i caught them on those green and yellow lip rippers you gave me.Thanks

I'm glad to hear it man! shoot me a pm or a text with your number, i lost it and i have some new stuff that you will want to try out

congrats on your guys catches. Question aren't those pewee worms already set up with the hooks.

No sir, they are custom poured trout worms/jig stingers
