Had the luxury of getn skunked today. Fished the shallows around island and east end using plastics n cranks. Hooked up once but lost it half way to boat. No bites the rest of day. Plenty of boats fishing the east end. I didnt see any hook up around me. Very slow day for me at least.

I was out there last weekend I couldnt get bit at the island or the east end, but I did find them elsewhere that day

Yeah man...same story for us. We were in the little green bass boat. One bite early, and nothing the rest of the day. Might have been the BLUEBIRD skies with absolutely no wind....the water was really murky too, as you probably noticed.
