3/15 Trip to the Vine

Well hit the vine at 5am and was 5th in line. First on the lake in the dark and headed for the back of Sierra Cove for Bass and nothing. Lots of fish metered (probaby BG and Craps) but moved to Rocky Pt and threw worms for nothing. Move to the westside to work a few coves for bass - nada including back in the flats in the trees. Nobody seemed to be getting anything. The lake was flat glass and running from 61 at the start to 68 by days end for temp. I did troll at 8-11am and used two colors for one trout that went 19" and shown hopefully. Hope all have better luck w/ the cooling weather and rain to bring the bite back on.....very similar to 3/14 Trip post and also heard the same from boatdock chico.29027

It's been rough out there.

Thanks for the report. Seems that the trout are going deep. Hopefully the weather will cool and bring back the bite. Sorry to hear no bass bite for you either.
