That is not a powermouse. A powermouse uses an egg, not dough bait rolled into a ball. So for the original poster, dont use the dough bait seen in the video. Put in place of it (top of the hook/above the work) a salmon egg.

actually either way is fine its all called a power mouse its just the more popular way to do it is with a single hook and egg and worm

I should clarify. I agree either way will work. However, I think the "traditional" powermouse with an egg rather than dough bait works MUCH better at Corona. I've done both and 95% of my fish are with an egg/worm combo.

Really well Thanx for asking. Now 2 months of recovery. But the hood news I just bought Rapala Pro Bass fishing for xbox 360. It's keeping my cravings in check.

Actually, it is the original Power Mouse of sorts, which used Power Bait as the "head."

Either bait and wait or slow retrieve. My "trick" at Corona with powermouse is split shot anywhere from 6-18" above hook, throw out, let sink to bottom and VERY SLOW retrieve or troll in the tube.

what you can also do is what i like to call a "mouse trap"...what you do is get a treble and on 2 of the hooks u hook on a night crawler...then u slide on a ball on power bait from the line through the eye of the hook and have the last hook sticking out go into the power bait like you would normally do...then u have the chouce of either inflating the night crawler or dipping the entire rig into some scented attractant...i typically like to dip the entire leader all the way to the weight and swivel into the attractant to cover any smell of lead or metal and human odors...also covers the scent if u smoke or used any tanning lotion or n e thing with strong smell!

I usually put a power worm on one of the 3 treble hooks then cover them in power bait for bait and wait. On my other set up I drop shot the pre-made power mouse on a single hook about 12" up from the weight.

The drop shot was killing it at Irvine for me this past wed when nothing else was working.

In my personal experience, a single hook powermouse has caught WAY more fish than a treble hook powermouse. To each his own
