Arrived in the lot at 4 to find 1 car. I was the 1st boat by 20 cars or so.
By 6 it was 38 degrees and almost two full lanes of cars. I launched and was bait fishing half way down the west shore b4 the 2nd boat launched. After an hour and no bites, I tried moving to woodys cove. Lost a 3 pound brown on power bait? After another couple hours of nothing, I decided to try trolling. I trolled all around the lake for nada. I didn't see anyone else getting hit either. I end up back in woodys cove.
About 1:30 the bite suddenly went off. Garlic pb power mouse seemed to be the ticket today. By 3pm, I had a 2 pounder, 3 -4 pounders and a 5. It weighed out to about a 20 pound stringer.
