Anyone fish for trout at perris lake?I go there from time to time and i catch alright sized trout with power bait.Someone caught a 30 lb striper there recently.

Back when I used to float tube sail cove (2006-2008) i used to catch trout on drop shotted holagram shad and crickets. There are a lot of trout there. In March-May, I would see the trout jumping out of the water and the largies crushing them in the air only a few feet from my float tube. It still is one of the most amazing things I have seen in fishing to this day. The trout are there.
