Ok so after getting the spur of the moment idea to hit a 3/4 day boat Thursday night i picked up some stuff i thought i was going to need, and headed out this morning on the Enterprise in search of some rock fish.

we got to the first spot and the current was ripping so we had to drift the first spot. it took me 16oz of weight to keep my line from getting swept away and many of the smarter guys were using similar amount of weight. so any way we start the drift as soon as i get to the bottom it takes about 45 seconds untill i feel the first tap i set the hook and it is a lil salmon grouper (or at least that's what the told me it was) i rebait with another sardine and let back out this time it takes an eternity to get it an entire 2 minutes and it turns out to be a red snapper at about 1lb.

a bout 15 or 20 min go buy with out anything for me but plenty of grouper are being brought up and so are some sole and red's and the captain announces that we are getting close to max amount of Fathoms we are aloud to fish so bring them in were going to reset for another drift.

we reset and i go back out and boom two fish one line and i am at my limit of grouper. and i have to toss one back. after a few more min captain announces that we are getting extremely close to our limit for the boat on the grouper and we need to switch to squid. so i put squid on both my hooks go back out and boom two fish again but there are grouper so the go back into the drink.

with nothing but grouper biting at the spot we move spots and get into some whitefish but i am not properly set up so for two drifts in a row i get bit and miss them. and well it was about 1030 by this time and that stayed the story for me for the rest of the day wrong gear no fishes, but the boat put tones of fish on the boat. at first glance of the fish count right now 30 people easily put over 300 fish on the boat.

sorry for not having pics but camera had no batteries and i allready cleand and eat the fish

but me josh and looks like tapper Steve will be back out tomorrow for a 1/2 day trip on the SOCAL

nicely done man.

I hate when we're fishing for species that i'm not geared for. It's like, i've got ALL this terminal tackle but it's at home in my garage.

I remember picking out each and every single thing i needed when i was purchasing them at the tackle shop but i didn't bring it with me on the trip because i didn't know we were gonna fish (fill in the blank).

I need a big tackle bag that's comfortable to tote around. As of current, i've been using my back pack that i used in highschool.

thanks.

yea i went back out today but on the SOCAL for a half day it was kinda slow in the morning but managed a few reds and me and josh decide since the bite turned on at the end that we would jump back on and go back out. by the time we got back out the current was ripping to hard to try to stay on the rocks and red so we went shower. even tho i had smaller hooks with me i still dint get a white fish but got a butt load of sand dabs.

He is a A hole from NY. Not your average rich Jewish guy.

Bio Hazard
Evan Seinfeld (born December 29, 1967) is an American musician and actor, as well as a director, photographer, and writer. He has also appeared in several pornographic films under the pseudonym "Spyder Jonez". He is best known for playing bass guitar and serving as vocalist for the heavy metal band Biohazard, and as the ex-husband of pornographic actress Tera Patrick. The couple announced their split on September 30, 2009, but they will remain business partners.[1][2] In addition to Biohazard, he currently plays with the Spyderz. Previously, he had performed with Damnocracy. In October, 2008, he became the bassist for the band Tattooed Millionaires.

OZ
Seinfeld portrayed Jaz Hoyt in the HBO prison drama Oz for the majority of the series' six-year run (40 episodes total). His character was the leader of the prison's biker gang and an ally of the Aryan Brotherhood, a white supremacist gang. In certain episodes of season 6, the Star of David tattoo on Seinfeld's stomach[3] can be clearly seen.

Seinfeld, who was married to adult film star Tera Patrick, has performed with her in seven films under the stage name "Spyder Jonez", including Reign of Tera and Teradise Island (which he also directed), Tera, Tera, Tera, and Desperate.

captain and deck hands are telling us that the current is ripping hard and to use 10-12oz to stay down so what do the idiots next to us use 4-6oz it was the exact definition of a cluster F@#$
