Went to SARL last night for some trout fishing. My buddy got there earlier then me. I got there round 5pm at opening. He caught 1 right befor I arrived on a Krocodile Jig and that was it. Spent the whole night with all sorts of combos of PW, crawlers, and salmon eggs. Got a few nibbles but no good bites to hook-up. Around 9:45pm a group of guys came 20 yards to the left of us and in about 15 mins caught 4 fish and 1 of which was a lightning. All ranging from about 1.5-2.5 lbs. We asked about their set ups and they had the same exact things as us. 6lb test, 6-24 inch max length leader of 4lb test(tried different lengths),chartreuse, garlic, rainbow, american pie, corn yellow, garlic scent, and every thing else u can think of. All the same as almost every one else who baits and waits and didn't get a thing =D...I guess the more experience you have fishing, the harder it is to catch fish.
