Tomorrow Mid Day??

Hey guys,

Im new to the surf fishing thing. Just have a quick question.

I want to try Bolsa Chica or LB tomorrow but the only time I can go is around noon. I have read that the best time is around high tide, but Im going to be too late for that. My question is can I still get into some aciton in the early afternoon? Should I not even bother at that time? Im planning on trying grubs for Perch.

It depends on alot of factors bro. Is there kelp in the incoming or outgoing? Is there structure for them to relate to? is there waves? Is the water clean enough for them to see your offering? Is there food present? These are what i look for when i go.

There aren't any perch in LB, just halibut and yfc's oh... and the almighty Lizard fish!
