I fished SFD for short tube session yesterday afternoon. I caught one bass on a drop shot to keep my skunklees streak allive. You can see photos and read the details on my blog at http://blog.bassinthehood.com

Nice to know, is the entrance still free? That $17 is a killer if not!

On weekends parking is $10 and there is also a $7 launch fee.

but on weekdays there is no parking fee until April 1st. But you still have to go to the office to pay the launch fee.

I agree the fee is a killer I will probably purchase a annual pass because I like fishing SFD on the wekends in my tube because I dont have to deal with boat traffic. Plus the pass is good for the Pudd and Castaic.

Good Job Kirk. Thats where I was thinking of heading first time using my float there and only second time fishing there hope to have pictures to post.

considering the dinks DFG has put in there when it comes to trout the Bass, Catfish and birds should all be nice and fat lol.

WTG, CPT. Kirk. I can't say the same here. Last week, I got the big old stripe down my back while my buddy caught 5. At a place that I usually own. Will check the blog.

The bass are healthy although I havent caught anything big this year last summer I did really good. I'm wiating for some of the grass to grow in then I can target them a little better.
