So I've heard that Swordfish and practically all pealigic species have high levels of mercury due to the fish living longer than baitfish. And I've also heard that Jacksmelt have high levels of mercury too. So how does the concept of as the fish ages it collects more mercury apply to a baitfish like the Jacksmelt? Got curious after reading the Grunion thread. Thanks.
