Prado Regional Park Lake 2-28-11...

Went out to Prado with a buddy of mine. Got there pretty late around 12pm...Soaked every thing available for trout and only got 1 bite with out a hook-up. Couple of regulars gave us tips and the know-how. Told us the lakes been slow recently because the water pump was broken since the December rains.

Was our first time. Great place but nothing caught. Hopefully will be back again and we will catch something.

I was there the same day caught three one keeper Chartreuse 15 ft out between 10AM and 1PM the guy 100 ft away from me limited out. The lake is improving since the pump repair something to take note of is the water cleared up from 9AM to 2PM 10 ft out. it wasn't that way in the morning.

Not a bad day at Prado it's about time.
