All right heres a question for you Corona fisherman. I plan on going out sat and the wind is supposed to be between 8-9 mph. I am no meteorologist so I want to know is this a significant amount of wind? Is it enough to affect fishing? If so any tips for fishing in the wind? I fished corona ounce on a windy day I dont know the wind speed but the anchors on my rental boat did not work very well either... Any help would be appreciated, thanks

8-9 is a nice breeze and actually just what you want. Drop your anchor a little upwind of where you want to fish and let out some extra anchor line. You will drift backward a little bit until the anchor line comes tight and the "anchor" digs in. You do not want your anchor going straight down if the wind is blowing.

8 or 9 MPH is not too bad. You should be OK fishing in those conditions. Good luck out there!
