We finally got a few bugs worked out on the new vessel and headed out to Vine on Sunday with my two boys Jason and Joseph for a trolling mission. There were a lot of boats along the west shore so we headed to the flats to start the day. Started out with with a CD7 Firetiger and a SC Shinner. Just off the backside of trout island we got hit on the firetiger. My son Jason quickly worked him to the boat to land a pb for him. He was very happy.

Continued to troll the flats and got hit again but on the SC Shinner this time. This time my older son Joseph was on the fish and got him in the boat. The fish were hitting the jigs hard and fighting harder than I've experienced at the Vine.

Things got a bit slow in the flats so we headed up to the west shore and spent the rest of the day over there. We ended up with a total of 7 on the boat (farmed 3)for the day.
The SC Shinners were HOT! I spent half the day straightening the hooks on my SC's the fish were hitting them so hard and fighting so well. We couldnt have asked for better weather. All in all a great day. I want to Thank everyone who has given me advice for the boat and especially The Killa Fish Taco for the Bite On. FNN is the BOMB!
