trevala jigging rod

Just wondering if anyone has any feed back on these rods? Just got one as a gift and was wondering if anyone has any experience using these rods? Any info will help before I take it out for some salt action.

I have a conventional medium heavy to fast jig the 130 to 150 gram jigs
on a 6 to 1 ratio conventional reel (trinidad 16Narrow/braided 50) and it felt good
very strong and light, with a yellow around 20 pounds at 100 ft deep,
the first 25% of the fight, at the bottom the fish was kicking my butt,
but after that the fish just circled around, as it was coming up,very nice rod.
