Sarl - 2/26

[Bait Fish]

With high chances of rain today, I didn't care. I was gonna go fishing one way or the other. Me and my brother decided to hit up Sarl and brave the rain. Woke up at 530 with a light drizzle. Got to lake and NO RAIN whatsoever. We were both determined to catch some trout. Both me and my brother dont really like to bait and wait PB, so we decided to throw some trout lures. After what felt like about a couple of hundred casts, we were both rewarded. Landed 3, Lost 2.

Some good catches! The persistence of cast after cast paid off. That last pic looks like you had the area all to yourselves.

We caught all of them on green and red plastic worms. Cast and slowly retrieve.

Water was kind of murkey due to the rain the day before...

30% chance of rain takes 70% of the people off the water and you will have a nice day fishing in the sunshine. 20%, I tend to get duly drenched in so that's the one i'm careful of.
