I have a Penn International II 12LT that I've had for years going in to Cal Sheets to be totally reworked. I'm having everything he does to them done as well as having it blueprinted for 80lbs.
It's currently on a Star Rod (FL based manufacturer) which is decent but nowhere near the quality of my other rods I fish. That rod is a 30-50 troller. I plan on putting 80lb spectra on the Penn with a 60 top shot.
Trying to figure out a new rod to put it on. At the moment I'm considering a grafighter or a Phenix hybrid although I'm totally open to suggestions. Also curious about the Ian Miller rods although I've never met anyone who's actually used one.
