Looking to meet up with somebody for ANY type of fishing in the LA/OC area. Fresh, Salt, it doesn't matter.

I just don't feel like being stuck in the house all weekend because the conditions are not "ideal"

Send me a PM with the details... I've got the whole fly gear setup. I have no experience with it outside of stream fishing for trout, but would love to learn how to target other species if that is what you are doing.

I am rigged with floating line on a 5wt. setup and floating line on a 3wt. setup only at the moment though.

I might be up for that. It's so hard for me get the strength to pull my float tube gear out of the rafters when I have a small 14' boat. If only I had a motor on my float tube ;)

I would buddy... but I'm at work at the moment. I have 2 poles in the truck as well as tackle but I surely didn't bring waders and a surf rod! lol

I don't have any experience with surf fishing so I am not even sure I have a rod suitable for it. Maybe another time? or another day this weekend? lol

Weather looks unpromisig tomorrow but I'll keep an eye on it and the wind. I alwas got my rod in case I leave work early haha I'll let u know how I do! I just use a 7 foot trout trout rod med light action and my bass reel rigged with 12 I believe. Usually dont use waders unless it's real shallow or rainy. Looks like the storm stayed out.

How did it go?

This weekend looks promising, end of the cold front at least for a few days. Thursday 64 degrees, Friday 71, Sat 74, Sun 71. Then another cold front and rain. Depending on the moon phase it might be really good. The bass have been slow for the most part all over, so maybe the peak in warm weather prior to the temp changing again equals some good fish!

Let me know what you think? We should meet up, I caught this bad boy last year right before the spawn.

I got out and fished... so it was a good weekend. The bite was slow for me, although I didn't throw everything I had at em'. Stuck with fly lined, wacky rigged senkos for one LMB and managed another with the same worm texas rigged.

Slow, but relaxing and that is really what I was after.

Saturday looks like a great day to give it a go. What body of water and what species do you have in mind? I've got a little boat but it is NOT good for bass fishing. We could pound shoreline or float tube if your up for it?

Anybody heading out for any ninja sessions this week?

I've got the itch to land some more of the pre-spawn piggies!!!
