Bolsa Chica Dinks!

Now that the water has started to settle down after the recent storms, I tried my luck at Bolsa Chica today. Tried for some Halis at low tide - NADA :Sad:(swimmies, stick baits, grubs, and the "kitchen sink")! Later on as the tide started to come in the Barred Perch bite was on! 8 perch in 20 mins., all DINKS (4-6") ... Love those Gulp Camo worms (2") and circle hooks ... all released unharmed!

I remember Nannette (warriorprincess) catching a massive 19-20 inch YFC there.

Nice to see a few folks getting out during the week while I am at work. With my weekends come the foul weather!

Looks like the coastline is the only place to not have to "ICE FISH" this weekend if you can stand the daytime temps in the 30's!
