Took the new/used boat out today for the first time. Got a late start (my wife came) 9 am on the water. Got bait and started flylining a sardine right off the kelp at the breakwall in SP and this guy hit my line. He was about 24". We let him go, I honestly got so caught up in all my new boat owner duties I forgot to bring ice for fish hold. Oh well he lives another day...

Weather was gorgeous. We fished the inside of the wall . Dines were very good size but not so lively. The larger anchovies were hot.
