Hit up the lovely Fairmount Park today between the hours of 10:30-1pm. Walked around the lake throwing zoom worm, senko, and a jig. Tied into a decent size one on the jig but came unbuttoned. Right now the lake is covered in leaves, palms, etc from the recent rain. It is extremely difficult to get a bait tight into the roots without going through the thick crap floating around.

I did see a dude there catch 2 carp; about 2 & 3 lbs. He said his buddy caught a 20lber yesterday along with a 4lb and 4lb cat. Apparently all the fish got sucked in by the vent and floated down the river, while all being tied together on a stringer.

if anyone has any recent pointers or ideas for fairmount bass, I'm all ears.

Fishmounter, if you're out there, I'd love to hear your input. I know you are a legend there.

I also went to Fairmount today! I got there when you left :)

Tossed a swimbait, jig, and lunker punker for a couple hours for no love.

Come on you guys, what's the problem? I was there early Friday and got 3 bass, 3 to 6 pounds. You know that sometimes I can be a real bulls***er...HA HA! No really, I'm going to wait about another month for the water to settle down, then I'll see what I can do.

I was also there from 10am to about 12:45... No love.. However I did take a minute to let my daughter play at the play place, while my little bro man'd the poles... And he said my daughters pink lady pole was hit pretty good but did not hook... Oh well
