Kick Bass tubing Triple Crown!!!


A three event series showcasing the best all around tube fisherman
Three locations to fish.

Newport Bay ………. Bay bass, Sand bass and calicos
Artificials only

Lake Perris ……….. Largemouth Bass
Artificials only

Cherry Beach ……….. Halibut
(Self caught live bait is allowed)

Event winner determined by totaling weight of up to a 5 fish limit for bass
Cherry Beach Halibut event winner determined by largest single Halibut caught.

Triple Crown overall winner determined by the following point system.
Depending on where you place at each individual event you can gain the following
Points.

1 place 50
2nd 35
3rd 25

All remaining places receive 10 points if a qualifying fish is caught
Participants without qualifying fish receive 5 points for attending.

A 10 point bonus is awarded for the biggest fish of contest per location

Entry fee is $150 and includes all three events
Prize money is distributed as follows
(A minimum of 15 participants)

From the total collected of 2250 (15 participants) 1250 is allocated for prize money.
Remaining funds will help put on the event and a portion of that will be donated to heal the Bay!

1st overall Trophy and 50% of prize pool ($650.00)
2nd trophy and 32% of prize pool ($375.00)
3rd trophy and 18% of prize pool ($225.00)





Tournament dates are as follows:

Cherry beach Halibut Saturday July 16th 7am - 12:00pm (Coincides with grunion run the previous night)

Lake Perris Saturday Aug 20th 7am-12pm

Newport bay Saturday Sept 10th 6am – 2pm

Registering of fish. It is an honor system requiring a photograph of said fish on a hand held digital scale, a photo of fish also on a measuring device. Ca state dfg regulations apply.


Additional prizes to be announced as we obtain sponsorships.

A dinner and prize ceremony will follow the Newport Bay event.

The "flyer" is bit confusing. Is this a catch and release tourney (using the photos of digital weight and length) or are the fish brought in to a central weigh in like at Bass Tourneys?
