Sorry for the late report, been out sick all last week..

Hit Buena Vista Lakes for about 3 hrs on Superbowl Sunday.

Slingin Mini Jigs on 2 lb test…

Huntin' pig trout...

Got a SERIOUS Loadup !

Serious Bendo on my flimsy 7 foot ultra lite graphite pole…


Thought I tangled with a real nice beastie trout…

It never jumped at all…stayed deeper which made me think it was a trout also…

Saw tail swirl after tail swirl as I battled….kept running me downshore….

Took my time (had to with the 2 lb test !)

Finally…..I see the Mossback was the culprit of the attack !

I battled ‘em for a good 8-10 minutes ! (Whew ! )

That’s the only strike I had..

No TROUT for me !
Didn’t bring any bait but I saw a few landed on PB.

Gary was feeling under the weather..hack, hack.............
but he caught fish and with a few more would have had a good tourni sack.

Catching that greenback on two pound line took skill..............
didnt humpy Dumpty fall off the wall or am I getting mixed up with Jack and Jill.

Way to go my fisher friend Gary.......
may you catch many more for you to skunk is not customary.

Besides I would take a bass over a Trout on almost any given day.......
although you might not get the same response from Troutonly I say.

So in Gary we trust.............
may you put up that pic with you and the prop alien again as this is a must.
