from what I can tell..
"Specialized for use with new PowerPro Microlines. Spool optimized to hold 150 yards of 4# PowerPro Microline"
is the only slight difference. I assume the lip and bail may be a bit different for the powerpro microline..

Spool is setup for 1-2 # line exclusively. The reg Ci4 is for up to 6# I believe. I have the regular one and am happy with it. I run one spool that has 4# seaguar and one has 2# izor. The way to go in my opinion....

IIRC the microline has a 4 pound drag while the regular Ci4 has a 7 pound drag.

did yours come with an xtra spool or did u buy a separate one?
