tried my hand at catching some largemouth today and it was well tough. Fish were spread out in all different depths. Worked every spot over and over throwing different baits on different rigs etc. Ended up with only 3. One on a jig, the other on a drop shot, and my dad got one on a texas rig. Fishing was definitely more difficult than the previous trip where the fish were more concentrated and eager to bite. Couldnt have asked for more perfect weather, clear blue sky, sun was out the whole day, and the wind only came up for an hour or two. All three fish were males and not pic worthy; was hoping for a big female but that will have to wait till next time. Water was around 56 degree if i can remember correctly.
