NPH Calicos

Howzit everyone? I've been surfing a lot these past few months and not doing enough fishing, and when I have been fishing I haven’t been posting. So today I decided to change all that! After surfing I met my Dad down at NPH for a little fishing session. We had a decent 3.5 hours off the kayak. We were pleasantly surprised by about 10-15 calico bass and a few sandies between the two of us out near the mouth of the channel. Then we decided to head back to fish some moorings to see if we couldn’t find a few spotties. He caught one spottie and a small halibut and I caught another sand bass and we called it a day! All fish were caught using three inch big hammers, and safely released.

Looked like a nice 3+ hour session in the harbor!

Calico out deep, Sandie's and Spot's farther in is the norm!

So much for slow harbor conditions that most are posting! Can't wait to get my "Spotted Fever" out there soon.
