I'm curious to know how many people actually eat what they catch out of the local bays. I would think the water is too polluted.

I'm sure that I'll be the first of many who will say don't eat anything out of any SoCal bay!!!

honestly, if you have a problem with it then dont eat it as sushi. other than that, as long as you cook it, the fish should be fine.

I have read of some people on here that have eaten the fish for years. Personally, don't think I would.

I would be one of those people who have eaten the fish from our local bays and harbors for years.

That might explain why I see in the dark so well.

I've always been told to stay away from the non migratory fish (tom cod/croaker and what-not) ... but other than that I'll eat what I catch, else release.

I figured the halibut would be somewhat safe. What else would be though?

Pfft.....
Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

It's that fish that kills you is the one I don't want to eat.
