Fishing has been insane for two weeks now and anglers plying the waters of the Vine continue to be rewarded with good fishing. Not one but two double digit Rainbows where plucked from the waters this week and a boat load of fish in the 5-7lb class as well. Trollers continue to find there quarry biting the Firetiger Raplas, SC Shiner in the Bubblegum and Gold/Orange along with the Lucky Craft Pointer 78 in Aurua Shad. Shore anglers found the fish to biting the new Gulp Alive Pinched Crawlers, Mice Tails, Gulp Salmon Egg with a nightcrawler, and Gulp Doughs.

Sean McCarthy of Sierra Madre weighs in this 15.0 Rainbow Trout taken while trolling a CD 05 Firetiger Rapala in boat dock cove. Nice fish Sean.

Bill Nelson of Garden Grove continues to put the hammer to the big fish here at the Vine. Bill is on a roll as of late and this 7.9 Rainbow proves it! Bill's fish ate a nightcrawler fished in the flats.

Phil Hildebrandt of Anaheim is no stranger to big fish at the Vine. Phil is pictured here with a 7.0 Rainbow that sucked in a mini Jig.
